Rebel Yell now has larger columns/posts on the front now and with the posts comes the decision whether to stain them to match the front door (which is my vote) or stain them a color to match the trim. Let us know what you think!
Nana and Addie bug saying, "Come on in." Can't wait until we can go in for real and enjoy some sweet tea!

Lovebugs have attacked the eaves on the back porch.
Well, the brick is complete and looks great. My brother has sprayed the ceilings white and has started priming the inside and staining the front door. The house is looking great...even the lovebugs think so.
Here are a few shots of the house with brick. It's almost completely bricked and my brother spent this morning spraying the ceilings. Since it was so wet, I didn't get any inside shots, but will get a few later this week.
The brick was delivered Tuesday and one side of the house and the front of the house are complete. The crew will continue to work over the next few days. Stay tuned for pics...
Rebel Yell now has sheetrock. The house actually has rooms now and the sheetrock should be completely finished later this week. The brick is also being delivered on Tuesday and should be on sometime soon. My brother has started staining the front door and will begin priming the walls once the sheetrock is finished. Things continue to move along....
Two summers ago, my parents sold their house of 23 years and moved to their land to finally build the home that they have always wanted. After two summers, the construction process has finally begun. This blog is all about the building of Rebel Yell---a place where my parents can retire and to where Addison and Landry can make memories with Nana and Papa.
