Moving Right Along

The house now has plyboard around all sides and moisture board along the back. Most of the electrical work has been done and Temperature Control Specialists have been working this week on the duct work for central air/heat. The roofers are supposed to come soon and we'll have shingles. Things are progressing rather nicely.

I'm still a few days behind on posting pics as more work has been done since I captured pictures on Sunday. However, I went back to work this week and haven't had much time to get any new pictures. That's on my agenda for this weekend. In the meantime, here are some pics of some work on one of the gables.

Heavy lifting

The decking is almost finished. The guys spend another afternoon in the heat to get the job done. Just a few more hours of work and the house will be ready for the roof. Don't worry--the guys have been rewarded for their work with Southern home cookin' each evening.

More Sweat Equity

The trusses are finally up and now the guys work to get the decking on the roof. "Daddy's crew" has a pretty good tan at this point from so much time in the sun.
